The Great Wayne Fair was one of those wonderful old town traditions- a handful of local artists displaying their wares, a firemen's muster involving a couple of surrounding towns, games and prizes to keep the kids interested. Molly's love for old English earthenware commemorative plates made with slipware led to a tradition which carried over to the Holiday Open House- picking a different theme each year and creating special pieces of pottery around that theme. Below is our collection of Great Wayne Fair plates from years gone by.

Note- We are missing some! If you notice that you have a Fair Plate from years past that isn't in this photo gallery, bring it by the shop- we would love to photograph it.
